Sunlight breaking over jagged peaks above a still fjord

A place within the landscape.

Steep mountains, still fjords and small houses along the shore. The view moves closer: a face on the trail, shadows on a red wall, lamplight beside a window. Then the islands open out again, into the long evening light.

Along the shore.

Colour gathers at the water’s edge: a yellow house, red timber, a boat at rest. Inside, a lamp answers the light beyond the window.

A glance back on the trail. Sheep beside the shore. A figure standing quietly at the water’s edge. The landscape leaves room for each of them.

Stay with the light.

Cloud brushes the cliffs as the beach turns gold. Higher up, the fjord catches the sky between dark ridges. The last photographs follow that light towards the horizon.
